Renovation layouts and meter positions
A proposed meter position is a starting point for assessment, not a confirmed option. Relocation considers the existing meter, associated pipes, site conditions and applicable requirements. A renovation illustration or storage preference cannot replace assessment of the individual site.
Existing and proposed layouts
Provide the property name, current meter position, proposed location and renovation stage. Existing layout drawings or photographs can support the discussion; if drawings are unavailable, describe the change. Use only information already available and safe to obtain. Do not move, dismantle or check the meter or pipes yourself.
Scope and coordination
The proposal and quotation should identify the meter position, associated pipes, labour, materials, inclusions and exclusions. A later layout change may require the scope and cost to be reviewed. Clarify the involvement of the gas supplier, management, residents or renovation team for the project, including the sequence of relocation and other works.
Work and handover
Work is arranged once the feasible position and site conditions are agreed. An online enquiry is not relocation approval or a confirmed appointment. Safety verification follows the actual work and applicable requirements; completion records follow the agreed handover requirements.
